FAQ
Advantages of natural cork
For the tree:
-The cork is all natural and is considered a sustainable and eco friendly process since the tree is not chopped down in the process. It is made from the bark of the Cork Oak tree.
-The cork is typically harvested from a tree every 9-12 years and is not harmful to the tree. Harvesting the cork actually helps the tree grow.
On the mat:
-the cork is antibacterial, pliable, durable, and water (sweat) absorbent. The sweatier you get, the more grip you develop.
Tips For Use:
-Loving the grip, but looking for more? No problem, just lightly spray your Cork Helping Hands with a spritz or two of water prior to practice. Do not saturate.
Can I remove the Cork Helping Hands once I have placed them on the mat?
The Cork Helping Hands are meant to be permanent adhesives to your mat and not designed to be removed. Helping Hands have been removed with lots of care and adhesive dissolvent. CAUTION: it can remove a layer of your mat in the process.
